Food Personality Profile

What is a Food Personality? Well, it’s similar to your person personality, you know the traits and inclinations that make you YOU, but focused solely on food. We believe that like personalities, individuals have unique food preferences.

Our Food Personality (FP) is where you can tell us what you like, dislike, and the foods you simply cannot eat. The FP is then used as a filter across 30+ recipe sites. If you are allergic to something, like gluten or peanuts, or if you follow a specific diet, we’ll filter out all the recipes you cannot eat. The end result? Imagine opening a cookbook to find that every recipe peaks your interest. Pretty awesome, right?

Let’s take a look at Julia and Kevin. Both vegetarians that love pasta, risotto,and stir-fry dishes, but Kevin is allergic to peanuts and Julia greatly dislikes broccoli and lima beans. While both may have overlapping food preferences, a good portion of the recipes Julia and Kevin see in their profiles would be different from each other.
